Our services include design implementation, project management, inspection checking and assessment of construction or maintenance practices of overhead traction wiring systems for new and existing electric train operations.
The design implementation work will be carried out using engineering design systems that are owned by the client.
The client will always provide a negotiated Scope and Brief Documentation for each specific project. When we are engaged all, work will initially be done on a negotiated hourly rate basis. All work will be accepted by the client with an associated indemnity sheet, with the client engineering staff or project manager checking and approving the "contract design implementation work" for acceptance prior to issuing documentation to their construction and maintenance teams or contractors.
NOTE: Overhead Contact Systems Pty Ltd will not be involved with any type of new or existing structural design work.
All project management work will be carried out in accordance with the client's existing engineering documentation system. The clients engineering documentation system should comply to AS 9001 quality assurance and also comply to current Federal or State legislation, acts and relevant Australian Standards.
The inspection service of construction and maintenance practice, will include the details of correct workmanship during wiring erection, through to the final acceptance inspections of completed works on behalf of the client or the clients principle contractor, this also includes system maintenance and shut down work.
Construction management aspects of project management services available include the planning, development and monitoring of construction task sequencing for modification projects to practically and safely maintain existing electric train operations whilst adjacent construction work proceeds.
Pre planning layout services for new or existing wiring equipment in localities of complex track work, or for temporary staged sites. Layout work will be undertaken utilizing the clients own design system and standard construction assemblies.
